To meet increasing production volumes, a manufacturer of micro porous membranes for battery systems and fuel cells selected The CMM Group to install a membrane dryer and Catalytic Oxidizer system.

The 20” wide x 3’ long dryer features three rollers to support the membrane as it passes through the ambient air temperature. The CMM Catalytic Oxidizer is designed to destroy 99% of the 20 pounds per hour of hexane and IPA solvent VOCs exhausted from the dryer. The membrane dryer was installed at the end of an extractor tank with the oxidizer mounted above the dryer.
